To be world class university

If a university wants to be a world-class university, at least the university must have three major roles: (1) excellence in education of their students; (2) research, development and dissemination of knowledge; and (3) activities contributing to the cultural, scientific, and civic life of society. In this article we will focus on the first one, excellence in education of our students. How to upgrade the capacity and knowledge of students, bring international students to university and send the students in university to abroad.

We know that many ways to upgrade the knowledge of students, one of them is giving lecture in their class. Teach everything about science that they want to know and they will figure it out about what they learned and explore more. The lecturers just show the way and the students will dig it deeper. The other way is sending students to study abroad, to open their mind, experience new activity, learn the culture, doing research together and much more to get. It’s important for their future to live in society. Because when the students face real world they not only need hard skill that they learned in class but also they will need soft skill, like communication, leadership and others. When a policy to send students abroad takes too much cost, there is another way. Bring the international students to study in our university. At least more local students will interact with the international students, exchange the art and culture. So, the local students will feel like they live abroad. If the number of international students increases by time then our university becomes an international university which is one step to be world-class university.

As a rector of this university, I will build a close relationship with many countries and invite them to send their students to our university, and sign a memorandum of understanding that provide a chance to send our best students to study in their country. I will need an international affair that manage everything about students exchange and provide any information  the international students need. So this international affair will connect the international students that want to study in our university and local students that want to study abroad. If nowadays we provide a place for any country to build a corner in our university like, Japanese corner, India corner, Korean corner and many else, now we could make it in one corner in international affairs. I will make the international affairs for many purposes, such as for language training, intercultural study center, administration and others.

Pertanyaan itu TIDAK relevan karena semua universitas di Jerman itu kualitasnya bagus atau malah bagus sekali. Jadi, yang terpenting anda diterima dan bisa lulus!

Nyaris tidak negara yang mampu mengimbang Jerman dalam Inovasi sains dan Teknologi.

Di bidang Ekonomi pun, daya tahan ekonomi Jerman teruji oleh waktu. Bersama Jepang yang hancur total kalah dalam perang dunia II, bangkit sebagai kekuatan ekonomi dunia. Bedanya, Ekonomi Jerman tidak pernah mengenal krisis. Jepang dalam 2 dekade lebih ekonominya stagnan dalam krisis. Amerika dan Inggris serta Eropa lainnya sejak 2 tahun ini terjebak dalam krisis yang dalam. Jerman tampaknya masih tetap kuat untuk waktu-waktu mendatang.

Kelebihan Kuliah di Jerman 3: Biaya kuliah untuk kualitas yang begitu bagus nyaris GRATIS! Meskipun ada yang bayar terutama Program MBA Internasional, tetapi program lainnya biayanya GRATIS.

Tentu saja ada 2 negara bagian yang terapkan pembayaran relatif kecil yaitu 500 Euro per Semester yaitu negara bagian Bayern dan Baden Wurttemberg. Hanya kuliah di negara-negara bagian lainnya adalah GRATIS. Bahkan untuk Program S-3 malah anda digaji!
